Having a positive attitude can make or break your mood for the day. I know, sometimes we wake up too early after being up far too late. We’ve all been there. However, if you find yourself in a grumpy mood, that is the time to pause and reflect. Stop and think about your situation. Is it really that bad? Bring into your mind images of things you love. Take some deep breaths. Try and adjust your attitude to a more positive state. Think about something you are thankful for and show some gratitude toward this in your mind. Now smile. Studies have shown that smiling, even if you need to fake it (for now) will lower your aggression and immediately put you in a better mood. *tip: Google “studies show smiling” to see some study results!
